Occupational Safety & Health
At Presidential, we're acutely aware that our business is only as healthy and energetic as our employees. That's why we place a strong emphasis on occupational health and safety matters - adequate induction and training, along with safety and risk assessment procedures and systems that encourage personnel to raise relevant issues with us have all contributed to creating a safe working environment for our personnel.
We believe that there’s much more to workplace safety than simply having an OS & H policy. Healthy and happy employees tend to be productive, motivated and diligent - and that’s good for them, good for our clients, and good for our business.
With that in mind we:
- Have systems in place to identify hazards, assess risks and implement controls;
- Are diligent in our induction and training procedures;
- Promote a culture that encourages not only safe work practices, but one that discourages behaviour that may affect the mental health or general well being of our valued personnel;
- Regularly review our policies and procedures and consult with employees and contractors to identify changing needs and potential improvements; and
- Actively encourage our workers to be mindful of their own health and safety, as well as that of colleagues and those who utilise the properties and facilities we clean or maintain.
Our strong focus on safety and well being in both internal and external work environments has no doubt contributed to our diligent and productive team, and to our reputation as a business that not only gets the job done, but does it well.
